Outline and Takeaways from SHOTshow 2020

Trade shows are staples in every industry, whether it’s web technology and marketing, cars, boats, toys, and more. And remember this doesn’t exclude guns and firearms. One of the largest trade shows for this industry is the SHOT Show or the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show. It involves a large variety of professionals involved in the industry including but not limited to: shooting sports and firearms, hunting, and law enforcement industries.

This trade show features a wide variety of apparel, firearms, gun parts, optics, and more. If you can’t make it for day 1 don’t worry, it lasts for 4 days in January. This year it was January 21- 24, 2020. Next year it will be in January 2021 in Las Vegas.

Here are our top focuses of the trade show:

  1. Many retailers offer exclusive deals ONLY at the SHOT Show, some of the distributors include Sports South, Zanders, Lipsey’s and Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, INC.
  2. The success is wild at the show, so much so that they are going to expand this next year’s show. This past year the exhibits covered almost 16 acres of space.
  3. People come from everywhere, it includes attendees and distributors from all 50 states and more than 100 countries.
  4. They have great highlights throughout the show like the 6th Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic and Education forums for realtors in the firearms industry.
  5. Back to exhibits, there is more than 2,000 total. It’s the industry’s largest dedicated exhibit for firearms, protective equipment, and tactical accessories. To be even more specific here are a handful of categories: airgun & airsoft products, ammunition, apparel, cameras, decoys, firearm barrels, footwear, holsters, hunting gear, tree stands, shooting range equipment, etc.

Don’t miss four days of industry professionals showing off the latest and greatest while exchanging industry secrets and innovative products for firearms/guns, target shooting, hunting, law enforcement, etc.
